QA Engineer
We are currently in search of an experienced quality assurance tester to join our dynamic team at Kernshell. The ideal candidate for this role will possess 2-3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance testing, specifically within the IT industry. This experience should include a strong focus on mobile app development, website development, and Microsoft 365 solutions. In your capacity as a quality assurance tester at Kernshell, you will assume a pivotal role in guaranteeing the reliability, functionality, and performance of our digital solutions. Your expertise and attention to detail will be integral to maintaining and enhancing the quality of our products, contributing significantly to our overall success.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile apps, websites, and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Identify, record, and track defects using bug-tracking systems in an organized manner.
- Perform manual and potentially automated testing to validate system functionality, performance, security, and usability.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure resolved defects do not affect existing functionalities.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, test results, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
- Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide input on potential quality risks and improvements.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging mobile app, web, and Microsoft 365 development trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-3 years of proven quality assurance testing experience in an IT company, focusing on mobile apps, websites, and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS, Android), web technologies, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
