We are seeking an experienced WordPress Backend Developer with a strong background in WordPress development and customization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building and implementing custom themes and plugins, along with a solid understanding of PHP web frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements.
  • Implement WordPress customizations, including functionality enhancements and UI adjustments.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in PHP, following best practices for WordPress development.
  • Work across the full development lifecycle, from concept through to deployment.
  • Ensure high performance and scalability of WordPress applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress plugins, themes, and third-party integrations.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of database schemas that support business processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in WordPress development and PHP frameworks.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with WordPress development, including plugin and theme customization.
  • Proficiency in PHP programming with a good understanding of object-oriented principles.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Deep understanding of common PHP and web server vulnerabilities and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with scalable application design and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and query languages.
  • Familiarity with the limitations of PHP and ways to overcome them.
